Paul has
been involved
in several high
profile matters
including the
Commission of
Inquiry into the
Blood Supply in
Canada, the
Commission of
Inquiry into the
Deployment of
Canadian Forces in
Somalia and most
recently as one of
the lead counsel in
the
Wilson Hepatitis B
Class Action
lawsuit which
resulted in the
largest medical
malpractice
settlement in
Canadian history. He
is currently lead
counsel in the
Errol Wai-Ping Class
Action involving
more than 350 women
and is one of the
lead counsel in the
Testaguzza
Acupuncture Class
Action. He
represents the Lewis
and Lasovich
families in the
recently called
inquest into the
death of two young
children at the
McMaster University
Medical Centre in
Hamilton as well as
the Atkinson family
in relation to the
death of their
daughter at St. John
Regional Hospital in
New Brunswick. He
was also lead counsel
in
D.P. v. Wagg, a landmark
case on the
admissibility of
evidence in civil
lawsuits.
Paul has made

appearances
advocating plaintiff
medical malpractice
issues including,

CBC radio. He was
